
Rules and Regulations
Men's Division
Game Format
- 3 Ten Minute stop time periods.
- Floating blue line offside.

2 points for a win, 1 for a tie, 0 for a loss.

No overtime/shootout in the regular season.

Before each game, both teams are to meet in the middle to read a Surah and for any announcements. No one should be shooting around during that time.
Timeouts
- Regular season: 1 per game.
- Playoffs: 2 per game, 1 per period. No timeouts during sudden-death game 3.
Attendance - Teams must have minimum 6 players for the game to start. Those who arrive after the first period has finished will not be allowed to play. Players must attend a minimum of 5 games to be eligible for the playoffs.
Dress code - All players must be wearing their team jersey during games. Those who do not bring their jersey will be given a two minute minor penalty to start the game. Bottoms that cover until below the knees should also be worn.
Code of Conduct
- Respect the rules of the game and opponents.
- Respect the facility - All garbage should be put in their appropriate bins in order to maintain a clean atmosphere, both in the dressing rooms and in the stands.
- Smoking/vaping in the vicinity will not be tolerated and will lead to possible fines/suspensions.
Disciplinary
- Swearing - Two minute minor + a $10 fine which must be paid before the next game.
- Fighting will result in a one game suspension.
- All decisions will be made by the referees.
There will be NO NEGOTIATIONS for the rules above.

- Goal Differential
Playoff format
- 5 out of 6 teams make the playoffs.
- 4th and 5th seeds play each other in a one-game wild card series, with the winner facing the 1st seed in the semifinal.
- 2nd and 3rd seeds play each other in the semifinals.
Semifinals/Finals Series format
- Best of 2 game series. No overtime or shootout to decide each game.
- If the series is tied after two games, there will be a sudden-death 10 minute 5v5 Game 3 right after Game 2 to decide the winner.
Trade/Waiver Requests
- All trade or replacement requests must be sent to the DIBHA organizers from the team GMs by 11:59 PM ET on Saturday of that week.
- No player transactions are permitted after the respective trade deadline (December 13, 2025).
- Goalies - If a goalie is away, the team may bring a temporary replacement for that game after recieving approval from the league.
- Direct Replacements - Only GMs and goalies are able to be replaced directly. All other replacements must go through the waiver system.
